9 MEN HANG ON TO HELP THE HARE'S FINISH 4TH IN THE LEAGUE

The Hare's started the match on the attack and in the 3rd minute they caught out the visitors when from an attack down the left wing the ball was played into the penalty area and TOM HUNT reacted quickly and he smashed the ball home to give the Red's the early lead.
Berko took a while to recover but they gradually got a foothold in the game and had the better possession for the remainder of the half, However United's defence restricted them to long range shots which were either easily saved or off target and the teams went into the break without any further score.
The best chance of the 2nd half went to the Hare's just after the break when HARRY NEWMAN picked the ball up in midfield and he attacked the Berko defence before laying the ball off to a player inside the box but the visitors goalkeeper managed to come off his line and save ball a the feet of BEN GILL.
The match after this was evenly contested until the 60th minute when the from a midfield tussle between players there was a reaction to the challenges from both a Berko player and the Hare's SELDYN GRANT who struck his opponent in retaliation and he was sent off for violent play. The Berkhamsted player for some unknown reason escaped without any punishment.
The Hare's reorganised their defence to contend with the lose of a player and they successfully kept the visitors at bay until the 75th minute when a Red's player was fouled on the edge of the box and this caused a me-lee between both sets of players, and it was not surprising that the Hare's goalkeeper MATT ELSTON-BULL was dismissed as he had rushed out of goal to get involved in the dispute between the players.
KEIRAN GRADWELL took over goalkeeping duties and the players continued to keep the visitors at bay and on rare breakaways they could have doubled their lead. The referee played several minutes of time add on but the team continued to defended magnificently and this allowed the team to leave the field with a fine win.
