10 MAN DUNSTABLE TAKE A POINT

This was a fiery encounter from the start with both teams competing for every ball and this lead to a disjointed game as the referee awarded numerous free kicks.
The match was evenly contested with neither side creating any decent goal scoring chances until the 36th minute when the ball ran loose in the Hare's penalty area and the Red's goalkeeper mistimed a tackle with his foot and the referee awarded the visitors a penalty. The visitors Newman Carney converted the spot kick to give them the lead.
The Hare's recovered quickly from the goal and minutes later they were on the attack but their shooting was off target, Never the less at this stage of the match they were pressurising the opposition and they were a awarded a free kick in the 43rd minute for a foul which was 10 yards outside the penalty area. The Hare's BEN GILL took the free kick and his shot was partially saved by the Dunstable goalkeeper as he attempted to push the ball over the bar but the ball ballooned up in the air and dropped in the goal. No further action occurred before the break and the teams deservedly went into the break level.
Soon after restarting the match Dunstable's captain Mosses Olaleye was given a straight red card when he clashed with a Hare's player and we assume this was for a bad foul. The visitors quickly reorganised their team as they withdrew all their players into their own half and put up a defensive wall to keep the Red's at bay.
The Hare's attacked the visitors continuously after this and after their best chance of the match failed when TOM HUNT was through on goal in the penalty area but the Dunstable's goalkeeper pulled off a good save to deflect the ball away and after this they rarely created any further clear cut opportunities and were forced to shot from long range and these were either intercepted by the Dunstable defence or the shots were just off target. Near the end of the match it was the visitors who nearly stole the points when from a rare breakaway their striker failed to to find the net from close range when MATT ELSTON-BULL saved from a shot from inside the box.
