The Hare's had the advantage of the wind in the first half and they scored the only goal of the half in the 15th minute when HARRY NEWMAN beat the Ashford goalkeeper with a fine header . After the break the Hare's kept the home side at bay until the 70th minute when former Harefield player Daniel Fleming equalised for Ashford. There was no further score and the match went into extra time, However Ashford struck an early goal and from thereon the Hare's were chasing the game and they left themselves open to the counter attack and they conceded 2 further goal before the final whistle.
