The Hare's had the majority of the play in the first half as the team had a good shape and the players were passing the ball well and forcing the visitors back into their own half, However the pressure only created a series of half chances as the Red's failed to get in behind the visitors defence and take advantage of the amount of possession they had.
The best scoring chance of the half eventually fell to the Tiger's in the 35th minute when from a rare breakaway the referee adjudged that DANNY BENNELL had fouled the visitors striker in the box and he awarded a hotly disputed penalty especially as the Hare's players were convinced that the tackle was fair and the Tiger's player fell over his own feet.
Justice was seen to be done when MATT ELSTON-BULL pulled off a fine save to deign the visitors the lead from the resultant spot kick.
United continued to mount further attacks before the break without success and the teams went into the break level.
The second half started in the same manner as the first half with Hare's creating chances but their shots were either from too far out and easily saved by the Tiger's goalkeeper or the they missed the target, Never the less the pressure gradually began to have an effect as the Hare's continued to push forward in search of a goal and they were eventually rewarded in the 61st minute when HARRY NEWMAN slotted the ball into the corner of the net after a well worked move.
The Red's were unable to score any further goals and the team slowly became more defensive in order to preserve the lead and they were fortunate that the Tiger's did not take advantage of this cautious finish to the match.
