FA VASE 2ND ROUND QUALIFYING

The Hare's were the better team in the First half and they went into the break with a goal advantage from a headed goal by DANNY BENNELL. Wellingborough fought back in the Second half and scored 2 goals to take the lead. The visitors looked like they would win the match, However with 15 minutes remaining they had a player sent off and this gave United a lifeline to get back into the match and BEN GILL provided this with a powerful free kick to equalise. The match went into extra time and the Hare's pressed forward for a winner but they were kept at bay by Town's defence until just before the end of the game when BEN GILL scored again with an unstoppable shot.
