HARE'S UNDER PRESSURE IN 2ND HALF BUT MANAGE TO PROGRESS TO NEXT ROUND

The Hare's started the match on the attack and they opened the scoring in the 4th minute when home débutante JAMIE CLARK-SAMUAL received the ball on the right wing and his first time shot from outside the box flew over the visitors goalkeeper and into the far corner of the net.
The Hare's continued to attack from the restart of the match and they won a series of corners but they were unable to convert any of these. The Reds were however not to be deigned and they doubled their lead in the 15th minute when JAMIE CLARKE-SAMUAL receive an excellent cross-field pass in the penalty area and he laid the ball off to HARRY NEWMAN to side foot the ball home.
United created several further chances without success and it was not until midway through the half that Crawley had a meaningful attack when they won a corner. They gradually got a foothold in the game and they began to to get more possession in the Reds half but their shooting was well off target and it was again United who had the best chance to increase their lead just before half time when JONNY MILLER thunder bolt header from inside the box hit the bar and rebounded away.
The Hare's players came out after break and played as if they had already won the match especially as and they did not respond when Crawley went on the attack from the start of the 2nd half and they were lucky that the Greens shooting was as poor as the first half as the Hare's goalkeeper was not forced to make significant saves. The however match change in the 65th minute when the referee awarded a penalty for handball by DANNY BENNELL and Crawley's Stuart Strange scored the resultant spot kick. The Hare's were under considerable pressure after this but they slowly got more control and they were delighted to see out the match and progress to the next round against Leverstock Green F.C.
