A trip to step 4 Beckenham Town in the FA Cup was expected to be a tough test for the hares.
But after 7 minutes the nerves were settled as the hares took the lead through Ben Ward-cochrane. We didn't have to wait long before Gareth Chendlik extended the lead in the 19th minute. With the score at 0-2 Beckenham were awarded a penalty which was brilliantly saved by Tom Clark the hares stopper.
Tom was having a stormer for the hares as Beckenham pushed to get themselves back in the game.
It was David Taylor who killed the game when he finally tapped in a scrambled effort inside the 6 yard box.
Beckenham did pull a goal back and the Hares went down to 10 men just to make things interesting for the last 15 minutes of the game.
The next round sees us at home v Sandhurst Town on Saturday 17th August 3pm ko.
