Gail force winds battered the players as the Hares went into an early 2-0 lead with goals from Harry McCorkell and Louis Bircham , with the wind behind them.

But as half time approached Leverstock pulled a goal back . Hares led 2-1 at the break but it would prove a hard lead to hold onto as they now tried to defend with the wind blowing straight into their faces. Leverstock did draw level and looked favorites to snatch the points. Until Steven Green ran through on goal and planted the ball into the corner of the Leverstock goal Hares lead again 3-2.
With conditions getting worse Leverstock again leveled the game 3-3.
With The referee about to blow for time Harefield had their last chance to win the game when Donnell Watts was unmarked in front of the empty leverstock goal but somehow managed to put the ball wide of the goal. Game over 3-3
