The Hares took on step 4 Binfield FC in the preliminary round of the FA Cup .
A tough game was expected and so it proved. But it was Harefield who were having the best chances in the first half and should have gone into the break ahead , but 0-0 it was at halftime.

The second half saw several changes due to injuries and it was on of those Harefield changes who struck first. Hekmat Alizai who had earlier this week been playing for the U18s was the man to be on the end of a great cross to stroke the ball into the corner of the net Hares lead 1-0.

With Binfield now chasing the game they were having more chances and eventually took one of them 1-1.

Now when it seems as we were going to Binfield for the replay on Tuesday night. A mistake by the Binfield Keeper saw Courtney Austin have the easiest of tap ins to send the hares fans mad and Harefield into the next round 2-1
